However, there is still uncertainty regarding storm strength and coverage during the afternoon, as the amount of morning cloud cover could help or hinder afternoon storms. Be sure to stay tuned for forecast updates as the day goes on.” It’s important to stay away from areas generally at most risk of flash flooding and debris flows. Slot canyons and steep terrain are most susceptible to flooding. All are encouraged to consider alternate outdoor recreation plans rather than possibly being put in harms way.
