Plans involving the Uintah Recreation Center pool will have to be put on hold as the pool is now officially closed. A pool closure for maintenance is done annually but this year’s closure will take a bit longer as the extent of the work needed to make repairs will require nearly a month. Uintah Recreation District informed the public of the closure in August, apologizing for any inconvenience it may cause. The rest of the rec center will remain open and the progress to the pool will be in full display for those interested in watching the work come along. Updates will be posted at www.uintahrecreation.org and the Uintah Recreation District Facebook page. The pool closure began on Monday, September 7th, and is expected to continue through October 3rd.
