A man was arrested on Monday in the Roosevelt area after he dropped a Meth pipe on the floor of a store showroom and police were called. An officer located the vehicle and man matching the description in a parking lot in Ballard. He gave a false name when asked. A search on the vehicle showed a revoked registration and no insurance. The man emptied his pockets and the glass pipe fell out as well as other drug paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest. Methamphetamine was found in his pocket as well as a bag of leafy substance. More glass pipes were found underneath the driver seat and in the center console. 37-year-old Nathaniel Jonas-Accawanna was booked into Uintah County Jail on a warrant and new charges, including drug charges.
