Planning is well underway for a cherished holiday tradition held in Duchesne County each year. Roosevelt City Police Department announced that this year’s Shop With A Cop event will take place
on December 9th at 7am
. Those that have a desire to have their child participate are asked to contact their respective clergy, DCFS, or other social service provider and have them make a referral. “This program is intended for disadvantaged children who may not receive Christmas due to financial or other circumstances,” shares Roosevelt PD. “Your cooperation will help us provide Shop With A Cop to those most in need.” Community support goes a long ways in making the event a success and donations are now being accepted at Roosevelt Police Department.
