The Parade of Lights had a wonderful turnout on Friday evening in Vernal. “The Parade of Lights warmed my heart with the floats and people glowing with lights and sharing their happiness and joy,” shares community member Marianne Touron. “Candy canes were given out and the fire dancers and fireworks were fantastic. It was wonderful to welcome in the Christmas season!” The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce announced the float winners to be Best in Theme: The Wireline Group, Best All-Around: Tina Francisco, Best Light Display: Mylie Harper, Best Christmas Spirit: Uintah Basin Christian Academy, Best Family Float: Tony and Sue George, and Grand Marshal Award: White Smiles Pediatric Dentistry-Vernal. Well done to all in spreading Christmas cheer.
