The Outlaw ATV Jamboree is being considered a great success. Over 100 vehicles were registered and over double that many participants attended the 3-day event over the weekend in Uintah County. According to Uintah County Travel and Tourism Director Lesha Coltharp, this was the first year of an event with a bright future. Uintah County is fully invested in seeing this as an annual event, shares Coltharp. “The economic impact will increase along with the growth of the event.” Riders came from Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada and Utah with many committing to return next year. In addition to scenic trail rides, the event held an ATV rodeo with contestants from 5-years-old on up. ATV barrel racing, an ATV teeter totter, and ATV drag racing were among the rodeo’s events. The success of this weekend will mark the way for future events and contributes to Uintah County’s goal of becoming an ATV destination into the future.
