Dinosaur National Monument wants everyone to remember that timed tickets starts today. Before visiting the monument, if you are planning to visit the Quarry Exhibit Hall, you will need a timed ticket that can only be reserved online at Recreation.gov and has a $1 dollar processing fee per ticket.
Sentencing is scheduled this week for a Duchesne County woman who entered a Guilty Plea to 1st Degree Felony Child Abuse Homicide in the 2018 death of her 2-year-old foster child. Lisa Jo Vanderlinden changed her plea to Guilty ahead of her scheduled jury trial in March.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 continue to tick up in the TriCounty Health District with the greatest increase in Duchesne County. The Sunday COVID-19 Situational Update on www.tricountyhealth.com shows that the total of confirmed cases to date for the entire TriCounty Health District is 133.
