The jury trial in 8th District Court for a Vernal man charged with Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child has been pushed back to next year. 48-year-old Delbert Day pleaded Not Guilty on two charges in July. During a preliminary hearing on
July 6th
, the alleged victim was sworn in and questioned by the counsel providing details of the alleged abuse that took place in 2009 at the hands of 48-year-old Delbert Day when the victim was still a child. Based on the victim’s statements, Judge Edwin Peterson said there is probable cause on both charges. The Jury Trial is now scheduled for
