New Roosevelt Library Design To Be Presented at Public Hearing

For those excited about the prospect of a new library in Roosevelt the opportunity to see the proposed plan is coming up! A public hearing is scheduled for next Thursday at the Crossroads Senior Center and the proposed library design will be on display. In recent years, the Roosevelt branch library has exceeded state benchmarks with their stats growing in circulation, frequency of events, attendance, and visits to the library. Seeing that they had essentially outgrown their Roosevelt location, the Duchesne County Library Board and the Duchesne County Commission began several years ago to seriously consider the prospect of building a new library in Roosevelt. A feasibility study was conducted and an architect created a basic design. The public was invited to view and offer feedback during public meetings and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Those interested in the latest design, site plan, and project progress, attend the public hearing on the new Roosevelt Library at the Crossroads Senior Center on Thursday, October 8th, at 7pm.
