Pageant royalty in the Uintah Basin are known for their enthusiasm and willingness to serve the local community. Newly crowned Miss Uintah Basin Queen Marinn Pearson is no different. Marinn’s platform is focused on taking a stand for healthy body image. “I’ve struggled with the way I thought and felt about myself and watched family and friends around me struggle as well,” explains Marinn. “I want to help those struggling and raise awareness to this cause.” Her platform is appropriately named, ‘Stand Up, Speak Out’ and that is exactly what Marinn plans to do. She will be speaking at schools and church groups all over the Basin in the coming year as the reigning Miss Uintah Basin 2016. Miss Uintah Basin 1st Attendant is Madi Adams and 2nd Attendant is Kelsey Smoot. Congratulation girls and thank you for making a positive difference in the Basin community.
