The Wade and Curtis Cabin at the Gates of Lodore in Dinosaur National Monument just keeps getting better! In 2023, a full rehabilitation of the historic structure was completed and now new exhibits have been added. “You can step inside this historic structure and discover the geology, ecology, and cultural history of the Green River and the majestic Canyon of Lodore,” shares the announcement. “Learn how this landscape was shaped over millions of years and the people who called it home. This updated experience connects the past and is a great introduction before launching on a rafting trip on the Green River through the Canyon of Lodore.” The National Park Service Historic Preservation Training Center performed the rehabilitation work on the cabin and SeaReach LTD designed and fabricated the exhibits.
