5th grade students in Neola are better prepared for the challenges that their future may bring now that they’ve completed the D.A.R.E. program. The program has been around for decades but has transformed over the years to prepare kids for challenges in this ever changing world. “It has been a pleasure to teach and get to know each one of these great kids,” shares Duchesne County Sheriff Dave Boren. “It chokes me up just thinking these kids are moving on to bigger and better things and will take what they have learned in the D.A.R.E. program and apply to their everyday lives. It’s just like my own kids moving out to go to college or something. The Neola 5th graders enjoyed pizza and were presented with their graduation certificates.
