Naples Fire Department Displays Engine 81 As 9/11 Tribute

Naples Fire Department provided a powerful tribute on September 11th, inviting the community to come see their fire truck that bears scars from that day 25 years ago. “Naples Fire Department's Engine 81 was a responding engine in New York on 9-11,” shares the Naples Fire announcement. “...She still carries a few scars from debris and rubble, but we don't remove them, we honor them. The names of the New York firefighters lost that day from this engine's crew are still preserved on the windows.” Engine 81 had a flag raised above the road for all to see on Friday, which marked the 25th anniversary of the attacks on American soil. Naples Fire also reminded the community to ‘Never Forget’ and added that “Never Forget also means continue to teach so those coming up behind us Never Forget either.”
