A field fire in Naples was quickly brought under control on Pioneer Day. According to Naples Fire Department, crews were dispatched to a field in the area of
1300 East 5800 South
at 9:04pm
. Naples Fire arrived to a fire burning in grass and sage brush. Jensen Fire Department was immediately requested to assist with the fire. “Priority was placed on protecting a home in the area of the fire,” shares Naples Fire. “With the assistance from Jensen Fire Department and a Engine from the BLM, the fire was quickly brought under control…” There were no structures damaged in the fire. It is believed the fire was human caused.
