There’s been a lot of change in Naples City administration but things are finally settling into place with new recruits hired. Mayor Dean Baker provided the update on how things are landing. Naples City has hired Mike Davis as the new City Manager replacing Joshua Bake who accepted a position as the Roosevelt City Manager. Mike Davis comes from Vernal City’s Finance Department and is in transition from Vernal to Naples City. Davis will be full time as the new Naples City Manager starting September 20th. “We are excited to have him come on board at the City as he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in City Government!” shares Mayor Baker. Naples City also hired Gwen Harrison to fill the Administrative Assistant/Planning Tech position which was left vacant when Heidi Lundberg left the position to accept a job with Uintah County as their Emergency Manager.
