Mudslides have been a regular issue over Indian Canyon in recent weeks and this stranded a high school volleyball team during their travels on Thursday. ETV News shares that the Emery High Volleyball team was traveling home from a game in Roosevelt against Union when the bus had to stop after a rockslide blocked the roadway. A video shows people moving large rocks and small boulders from the roadway. No injuries were reported and eventually the bus and other travelers were able to pass through. UDOT has closed spots on Indian Canyon multiple times in recent weeks to clear mudslides and debris from the road as heavy rains and storms have affected the ability of travelers to pass over the roadway.
