Each year, Moon Lake Electric sponsors high school juniors to attend a youth conference where they will learn more about cooperation, communication, and leadership. Over the week of
July 8th – July 12th
, these students will have the opportunity to participate in games and speaker sessions designed to foster these behaviors at Snow College’s campus in Ephraim. A cash scholarship will be awarded to one attendee at the end of the conference. Attending this year will be Jasmine Ayala, Destiny Evans, Gracey Gardner, Layla Jenson, Norman McKenna, Rozalon Rowley, Shauri Thacker, DeLanee Theener, and Leland Tippets from Altamont High, Ethan Clayburn, Camaraea Poulson, and McKayla Richens from Duchesne High, Malorie Luck from Uintah High, and Macee Adamson, Mark Black, Angelina Burgi, Lauren Crozier, Kobe Gurr, Grady Horrocks, Isabelle Hullinger, Jaron Lamb, Brittney Murray, Ajia Safley, Trent Smith, Jordan Tan, Arely Vazquez, and Ellison Weaver from Union High. Congratulations to all of those chosen to attend.
