Plumbing issues might not be the preferred reason to have school canceled but it’s doubtful the students of Moffat County High School were complaining. The Moffat County School District announced on Wednesday that due to a continued plumbing issue at the high school, the school would be completely shut down on Thursday. Once the situation was under control, the school district announced on Thursday that school would be back in regular session on Friday, December 17th. “Thank you for your patience and allowing us time to fix the plumbing issues that were persistently causing a disruption,” shared the district. “The maintenance director and other community professionals feel confident they have found the source of the problem and will have all bathrooms and plumbing fully functional Friday for a regular day at school.”
