Roosevelt City residents will have the opportunity to vote for two open City Council positions as they receive their ballots in the mail. Candidate Rowdy Cloward has lived in Roosevelt for 16 years and works as a foreman in the oil and gas industry. “I have always been interested in serving my community,” shares Rowdy, who has previously served on the City Council. “It’s important to me to be able to serve my community, especially the youth, by donating my time and experience to better their future.” When asked about his vision for Roosevelt City during the Meet The Candidate event held at the Crossroads Center, Rowdy said, “Right now is an important time for Roosevelt City because of growth. We are about to see oil and gas companies getting really big…I think it’s important for us to grow smart. We don’t need rapid growth. We need smart growth… I’m involved in the industry so I think I can help during that growth for Roosevelt City.”
