The Meet the Candidate Radio Forum kicked off for Uintah County School Board candidates this week. Three of the five Uintah School Board seats are open this election and the radio forum is aimed at providing voters a clearer understanding on each candidates position on issues facing local education. Caldwell is a CPA and has 25 years experience managing and owning several businesses. He supports increasing educator pay in the district, reducing Capital Outlay Property Taxes by $5 million dollars every year, and to continue providing the opportunity for a quality education locally. Robin McClellan is also running for the Uintah School Board District 3 seat. District 3 voting precincts include Maeser, Glines and part of Vernal City.
