As election ballots arrive, Roosevelt City residents will have the opportunity to vote for two open City Council positions. Candidate Beau Hancock is a Roosevelt City resident who brings a wealth of legal expertise as a licensed attorney and understanding of local needs. He has shared that his purpose for running is to guide Roosevelt City through its growth while preserving its unique character. He has also emphasized that he is an advocate for local businesses as he hopes to foster business-friendly rules and regulations, creating opportunities for economic vitality. When asked about his vision for Roosevelt City during the Meet The Candidate event held at the Crossroads Center, Beau said, “My vision for Roosevelt City is to lean into our strengths. As an energy hub, we need to lean into that to promote and foster an environment for all the supporting oil field service companies to grow and be stronger. We’ll have to foster control for measured growth for the city. I think this area is going to experience a population boom and we’ll need to be ready for it.”
