In the early morning hours of January 24th, an officer noticed a man walking on the shoulder of Highway 40 traveling east in the Myton area and pulled over to check in with the individual. The man identified himself as 34-year-old Casey Milan who stated that he was on a walk from Myton to Roosevelt. The officer noted that he spoke at a very fast rate and his arms, hands, and head were in constant movement. Milan told the officer that he was currently on probation. On a phone call, Milan’s AP&P agent asked the officer to complete a compliance search due to the abnormal behavior. Casey stated that he had Methamphetamine and a knife on his person which the officer located. Because Milan was a category 1 restricted person, he was arrested on the offense of Felony Possession of a Dangerous Weapon by a Restricted Person as well as drug charges.
