A man has been charged after being arrested in Uintah County last week for illegal activity involving theft and drugs. According to the Probable Cause Statement, Eric Osborn was in possession of a stolen e-bicycle, the value of which was greater than $1,500. On Osborn’s person was a baggie of methamphetamine, which he admitted to. Osborn also told law enforcement his backpack contained marijuana. A search of the bag turned up the marijuana. Osborn has three prior convictions of possession of controlled substances within the last 7 years. 48-year-old Eric Gerald Osborn is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Theft and multiple drug charges.
