Man On Probation Arrested After Openly Stealing From Myton Family Dollar

A man on probation was arrested last week after openly stealing from the Myton Family Dollar Store. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 20-year-old Kane Olvera-Swain walked into the store, walked past the cashier station, grabbed a drink out of the cooler, and walked back out the door. The store manager showed officers in-store video of the incident and they were able to locate Olvera-Swain walking down an alley in Myton and he was arrested. Olvera-Swain is currently on probation with AP&P and has a criminal history of Felony Burglary and Theft. His new charges include Criminal Trespass and Theft.
