Man Charged With Forcible Sexual Abuse In Uintah County

A man was charged this week with felony sexual abuse following an alleged incident last week which resulted in the man’s arrest. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Jeriah Kolong was staying in the same home as the victim and entered the victim’s bedroom around 4am while they were asleep. The victim woke up during the sexual assault and yelled at Jeriah to get out of the room at which point he fled. The victim woke another person in the home and Jeriah was confronted. Witnesses told officers that Jeriah’s response to being confronted was that he does not know what is wrong with him and that he needs help. Jeriah was directed to leave the residence. He was brought to the Uintah County Jail to be interviewed that same day and was ultimately arrested. 20-year-old Jeriah Kiru Kolong has been charged with 2nd Degree Felony Forcible Sexual Abuse.
