A man who called dispatch for help, whispering that someone was breaking into his home, ended up arrested on drug and weapons charges. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, officers responded to West Bluebell Road in Duchesne County on January 28th. Officers did not find anyone suspicious around the property or any vehicles on the roadway upon arrival. The man eventually opened the door to the officers, continuing to whisper and explaining that a blanket that had been hanging at the door got pulled down and drug across the floor, prompting his call. Officers noted that the man was acting strange, appeared very paranoid, and had clammy skin and glossy eyes. He was eventually identified as 29-year-old Brandan Sean Clements and it was found he had a local warrant for his arrest. Methamphetamine was located on his person. Officers observed an AR-15 rifle and other firearms were located during a search warrant. Clements was arrested and is charged with 2 counts of 3rd Degree Felony Prohibited Dangerous Weapon Conduct and misdemeanor drug charges. As of January 29th, he was ordered to be held without bail.
