An Attempt to Locate on an alleged drunk driver resulted in a variety of serious charges for the night’s events. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, an officer saw the reported vehicle and observed the driver pull into a driveway and enter a residence. The officer knocked on the door and made contact with the driver. The man stated that he had been drinking. Field sobriety tests and a portable breath test were performed. The breath test gave a .121 result. 42-year-old Adam Patrick Hackett was brought into custody. During this same time, officers were in contact with a victim of physical and sexual assault allegedly at the hands of Hackett that day. Officers investigated and due to evidence at the scene and based on an interview with Hackett, additional charges were added, including Assault, 1st Degree Felony Forcible Sodomy, and Domestic Violence. Hackett has been ordered to be held without bail.
