Things got intense at the Walmart gas station early this week when a man became angry about another vehicle playing loud music. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, over $1700 in property damage was caused when a man approached the vehicle with the music playing and “asked the passenger if he could take a hammer to the car due to the loud music. [He] continued to yell at the victim until he began hitting the vehicle with a balled up hammer type fist.” Officers were called and multiple hand-sized dents were observed on the vehicle. Officers took the report and were able to locate the accused individual, Keith Kron, who said that he was frustrated with the music being unreasonably loud. He said he asked those in the vehicle, “How would you like it if I went up to your car and did this?” Then Kron demonstrated to the officers an open hand slapping motion as what he did to the vehicle. 66-year-old Keith Brian Kron was arrested and is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Property Damage/Destruction with a loss of at least $1500 and with an Infraction for Disorderly Conduct.
