The Mallard Oil Wells project has been approved by the Bureau of Land Management. The project description states that Finley Resources is proposing to drill up to 9 new oil wells on the new Mallard Tribal Pad located in Uintah County. The project location is near Leland Bench and the new Mallard pad, access road, and pipelines would be constructed entirely on private lands. The decision approving the proposed action was signed on February 13th.
