Two boxed packages containing a combined 10 pounds of Methamphetamine made its scheduled delivery to a residence in Duchesne County last week but only after FEDEX collaborated on the delivery with local law enforcement. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, law enforcement was made aware of the packages on November 13th and supervised the delivery to Tobias Lopez who lived at the home and took possession of the packages. “A search warrant had been approved for the home with this information and was immediately executed after the delivery took place. Tobias Lopez and Mariea Hackford were taken into custody and a male juvenile stayed on scene. The house was searched by law enforcement personnel and during the search, items consistent with drug use and distribution were located.” 49-year-old Tobias Rubio Lopez and 46-year-old Mariea Hackford are each charged with Felony Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
