This weekend is the perfect time to get outside and look to the sky! The annual Dinah “SOAR” Days Hot Air Balloon Festival is this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the event will be bigger and better than ever before. The Festival began in 2018 and was a huge success, even with weather issues that grounded many of the balloons. The public still loved having a fun, magical event to enjoy. The idea originated from the Vernal Chamber Hospitality Committee wanting to have some kind of day to represent the community. A collaborative effort got under way and now the event is in its fourth year. This year will have more balloons than ever before and in addition to the morning launches, there will be two night glows, live music and entertainment, the chalk art contest, a car show, market, beer garden, Dino Dash, and the list goes on.
