The Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards has released its list of Top 10 nominees in each category and Uintah High Theatre has earned four nominations tied to their production of Frozen: The Broadway Musical. Caleb Harrison is a Top 10 nominee for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Olaf. This unique role required more than just the usual talents of acting and singing. Caleb performed the entire show attached to the Olaf puppet and bringing the character to life. Caleb was the only Uintah actor to advance to the final top 10 in the state but also worth recognizing is Alexis Anderson, Lucas Harrison, Mae Coonradt, and Morris Stewart who each received preliminary nominations from the state judges. The other Uintah nominations to make the state top 10 are Linda Cochran as a Top 10 nominee for Best Costume Design, Keith Larsen as a Top 10 nominee for Best Lighting Design, and Uintah High Theatre as a Top 10 nominee for Best Scenic Design. The state awards ceremony is happening May 9 at the Eccles Theatre in Salt Lake City.
