In a released statement, Petroteq Energy Inc. shares that they are getting closer to bringing their Vernal plant back online. The plant has been going through a re-engineering design as the company upgrades its patented-proprietary technology that features fully integrated surface oil sands mining. The facility has its maintenance program going as well as the re-engineering of the equipment that involves the sand separation, clean sand production processes, and the fluid and sediment extraction equipment. Once the plant is in production the future includes additional stages that plan to reduce the maintenance costs over a long term period.
