The COVID-19 Transmission Index update reports Duchesne County and Uintah County at the High Transmission Index Level and Daggett County at the Low Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 12 percent and there were 129 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 15 percent and there were 110 cases, and Daggett County was 25 percent with 6 cases. Statewide total ICU utilization was 83 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 29 percent. Locally there were 6 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations in the past seven days and no new COVID-19 related deaths. TriCounty Health also reported that as of Thursday there has been to date 5,386 total COVID-19 cases in the TriCounty area. There are currently 336 active cases.
