Utahns will once again have the opportunity to donate to help Utah’s homeless on their income tax form and local entities are among the recipients from that fund. The Pamela Atkinson Homeless Trust Fund focuses on delivering critical services to Utah’s homeless population and Uintah County and the Uintah Basin Association of Governments made the list of agencies receiving funds to fight local homelessness. “Amidst the ongoing issues with homelessness in this state, we cannot forget the very successful programs and services that are making a real difference for Utah families,” shares Governor Gary Herbert. Those that donate to the Pamela Atkinson Homeless Trust Fund on their 2016 tax form are directly supporting service organizations statewide that provide vital care and assistance to individuals and families in what can feel like a hopeless situation.
