Dinosaur National Monument has been actively involved in the research of Monarch butterflies. In fact, if you visit their Facebook page you will see many posts featuring helpful information, wonderful volunteers, and exciting events all centered on the Monarch. Now they are going to teach us how we can help. Dinosaur National Monument is hosting an event called Learn How to Become a Citizen Scientist and Help These Butterflies. Come to the Quarry Visitor Center at Dinosaur National Monument on Saturday, October 5th, for a 30 minute talk at 10am. They will discuss the latest research on these rapidly disappearing butterflies and what we can do to help.
