A favorite ice fishing event that would be only a week away has been rescheduled due to lack of ice. The 5th annual Disabled Outdoorsmen Utah Ice Fishing Event will now be taking place on February 10th at Steinaker State Park. This ice fishing event is special as it is focused on providing an ice fishing experience for everyone, especially those whose disabilities may have kept them from such experiences in the past. Event organizer Sidney Smith is a double amputee who is one of the founders of Disabled Outdoorsmen Utah. Specialized adaptive equipment is used to make the ice fishing experience possible for the vast range of physical abilities. There will be fun games, raffle items, and good food. Volunteers are still needed for this tournament and participants and volunteers are asked to RSVP at www.DoUtah.org/events
