Uintah School District wants the public to know it still has funds available to help provide broadband internet access for students enrolled in district programs who do not otherwise have broadband internet at home or do not have adequate broadband internet speeds at home. The funds are part of a $300,000 dollar K-12 Broadband Grant the district received in late 2020. The grant was created by the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Those eligible include those who do not have broadband service in their household, or do not have adequate broadband speed and meet federal criteria for free and reduced lunch. Internet access provided through this grant will be filtered to meet content guidelines approved by Uintah School District. Contact Uintah School District for more information.
