An intoxicated Uintah County man was arrested on Friday after attacking a family member. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, officers responded after the complainant stated that her nephew was intoxicated and had attacked her. Officers arrived and spoke with Chasen Kurtz who was having a hard time standing up but tried to run from officers. Chasen continued to fight the officers so he was detained while they conducted the investigation. The victim said that Chasen had attacked her with a picture frame and the broken glass was observed on the back patio. 25-year-old Chasen Lee Kurtz was arrested and is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Aggravated Assault, Interfering with a Police Officer, and Public Intoxication.
