The public is invited to come learn more next week about proposed intersection improvements at SR-121 and 1500 West in Vernal. The Utah Department of Transportation issued the announcement, inviting all interested individuals and groups to a public meeting in an open house format regarding the project that includes improvements and an installation of a traffic signal at SR-121 and 1500 West. “The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about the project, review the proposed improvements, and provide feedback,” shares UDOT. “Project representatives will be available to discuss details, answer questions, and gather input.” The hearing will be held Thursday, May 8th from 5:30 to 7pm at Vernal City Hall. Public comments can be submitted starting May 8th in person at the public open house, by email to 1500westintersectionimproved@utah.gov, or by mail. The official comment period closes at midnight on June 8th.
