Sidney Smith is well known in the Vernal community and beyond. He and his family can be seen with friends at the ballpark or at other local events. Sidney is respected in the local business community and he is also well known in local fitness and race training circles. In many ways, the Smiths are just your average loving and hardworking family. Something extraordinary about their story, however, is that Sidney is also a double amputee. Today is the launch of a new inspirational film that, in the words of Eric Whiting from Backbone Media, follows Sidney Smith’s courageous story to inspire others to reach beyond their circumstances. “The May 2nd video launch is timed to inspire people to get outside and take positive steps towards their future,” shares Whiting. The film will certainly do that as Sidney is straightforward and honest about the fear and challenges he has faced. “What I hope people see about me and my story,” shares Sidney in the film, “is that life is hard and unfortunately it gets harder as we go, but we’re going to get better at it and the more we overcome our challenges, the stronger we are going to be. Challenges are what make life interesting,” Sidney states. “It’s overcoming them that’s going to make life meaningful.” Link to the ‘How I Conquer’ film through the story on
