The time to give input is now for a Wild Trail Project proposed by Northwest Pipeline in Daggett County. Northwest has applied to build a new compressor station adjacent to the existing Clay Basin Meter Station to provide an additional 57,955 dekatherms per day northbound and an additional 25,000 dekatherms per day southbound. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has prepared the Environmental Assessment (EA) and any person wanting to comment on the project is invited to do so. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission must receive comments on or before 3pm on January 14th. “The Environmental Assessment (EA) addresses the potential environmental effects of the construction and operation of the new Daggett Compressor Station, including one gas-fired turbine, installation of 24-inch-diameter suction and discharge yard piping to interconnect the Daggett Compressor Station to Northwest’s existing 26-inch-diameter Northwest Pipeline; and minor modifications to the existing Clay Basin Meter Station.” Comments can be submitted electronically using the eComment feature on www.ferc.gov.
