Navigating the world in 2020 requires flexibility, something the organizers of the annual Hotel Vernal Haunt clearly understand. Rather than cancel the 2020 Haunt, the decision has been made to change locations to accommodate social distancing. The announcement was made at the Vernal Chamber Luncheon on Tuesday that this year’s Haunt will be held at Remember the Maine Park and will include a laser light show and movie shown on the cliff and a haunted walk through the woods. This will be the Haunt’s third year and all proceeds will go to charities. This year’s charities are the Dry Fork Flag Project, Weston’s Vision, and A Chance to Dance. The event will be family friendly and people can watch the shows from vehicles or on in lawn chairs on the grass. The Haunted Woods promises to offer the usual thrills but with greater distancing between groups.
