Communities across the Uintah Basin are ready to spread Christmas cheer. Tabiona will be holding a Christmas tree lighting event on December 1st at 6:30pm. There will also be a photo opportunity with Santa, crafts, and treats. The Roosevelt Tree Lighting will also be held on December 1st at Old Mill Park with events starting at 4:30pm. Then on December 6th, Duchesne City will be holding their annual all-day Christmas Festival with events at Rock Park, the Mickelson Center, and Duchesne High School. In Daggett County, the Flaming Gorge Resort will have hayrides with Santa Clause and the Grinch this Friday and Saturday. Also in that area, Daggett County is hosting a Christmas in the Park event on December 6th at the Daggett County Park. There will be horse carriage rides, hot chocolate, carolers and more from 11am to 3pm. In Uintah County, Holly Days will be held in Vernal on November 28th and the Annual Naples City Tree Lighting event is happening December 2nd.
