The installation of a new prehistoric shade structure is among the finishing touches of the Cobble Rock Block revitalization and Vernal City wants your help giving it a name. “Vernal’s Pteranodon shade structure has landed in its new home in the back of Cobble Rock Block, but it’s missing an important part…a name!” shares the Vernal City announcement. “It needs a name that’s as bold, fun, and unique as Vernal itself, and that’s where YOU come in. We’re asking the community to put on their creative hats and help us choose the perfect name.” Visit the Vernal City Facebook page to link to the form where you can offer a name suggestion. A great chance to come see the new Pteranodon structure is this Friday, October 3rd, as part of the Cobble Rock Block celebration. There will be free food, booths, and activities for all ages. The celebration will run from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
