Handling Current Fines at Uintah County Library

by | May 21, 2019 | News | 0 comments

The Uintah County Library has received approval to do away with late fines, meaning that there will no longer be overdue fees. Ahead of the big transition, residents are asked to stop by the library and clear up accounts. The library has three ways in which you can clear all fines. First, you can always pay all your fines. If that is not possible, food for fines has started in which you can bring in non-perishable canned items for the food pantry. One can item can be turned in for $1 dollar of credit towards fines. You can also read down your fines. All you need to do is go to the Children’s Help Desk, sign in, and read to children, which can even be the children that you brought with you.
