Every year around Halloween, Vernal’s downtown fills with thousands of superheroes, princesses, ghosts, and goblins as local businesses fill candy buckets. This year, the annual Mayors Walk is receiving a new name. It’s the ‘Trick Or Treat Street’ hosted by your local City Mayors. Last year, over 8,000 locals and 100 businesses participated. This year, the event is taking place on Saturday, October 25th, from 3 to 5pm and it’s time now for businesses interested in handing out candy to get registered. It is free for businesses to participate but spaces are limited so pre-registration is required. Vernal’s Main Street will be rerouted and closed to traffic from 2pm to 5:30pm for set up and clean up. Questions can be directed to 435-781-7108.
