The popular two day event that draws people to Green River, Wyoming every summer is no longer in limbo. It was unclear whether Flaming Gorge Days would continue after the dissolution this fall of the nonprofit, Green River Flaming Gorge Days, Inc. The Green River City Mayor recently spoke on behalf of the City in confirming that Flaming Gorge Days will continue. “Flaming Gorge Days is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of our community spirit, our local pride, and the people who make Green River such a special place,” shared Mayor Pete Rust. “We are committed to keeping this tradition alive and thriving.” Plans are already well underway for the 2026 Flaming Gorge Days scheduled for June 26th and 27th.
