A Green River, Wyoming woman is facing a felony theft charge and the prospect of prison time after allegedly embezzling nearly $200,000 from the Rock Springs hotel that she was managing. 49-year-old Melissa Fran Hutchinson was arrested on April 20th after a warrant was issued for her arrest. Police say Hutchinson would accept cash payments for long term guests and there were 334 fraudulent invoices uncovered. Many of the invoices were filled out with what investigators determined were fake names and addresses. Hutchinson posted bail and could face 10 years in prison if convicted.
