The Grand Opening of the UBTech Art Gallery and its first annual art auction took place on April 1st. Heather Lowry from UBTech reported that it was a great success. The art gallery is part of a partnership with Uintah Basin Visual Arts and has been in the works since August of 2021. The art auction was able to raise $6,700 dollars for student scholarships. The gallery is located in the Vernal UBTech location and is open daily with art displayed and for sale by local artists with the Uintah Basin Visual Arts organization.
